An interactive tool has been developed – List of electricity suppliers operating in the territory of distribution system operators
The National Energy and Utilities Regulatory Commission, together with the DiXi Group analytical center, has developed an interactive tool – a List of electricity suppliers operating in the territory of distribution system operators (DSOs).
The list was created in accordance with the powers granted to the Regulator by the legislation of Ukraine in order to ensure the effective realization of consumer rights in the electricity market, form a transparent information environment for market participants, systematize information from licensees, which system operators and electricity suppliers are required to post on their websites at the Regulator's request and in compliance with the Law and the Retail Electricity Market Rules, and simplify consumer access to such information.
This List provides consumers with the opportunity to promptly find suppliers in each region that are parties to distribution agreements with the relevant system operators, with links to their official websites.
In turn, consumers visiting these suppliers' websites can find information about their commercial offers, allowing them to exercise their right to choose an electricity supplier with the most favorable price and supply terms.
The creation of this interactive display of the List of electricity suppliers operating in the territory of distribution system operators was made possible thanks to the support of the United States Agency for International Development, provided through the USAID "Energy Sector Transparency" project implemented by the DiXi Group analytical center.
