Access to public information

According to the Law of Ukraine "On Access to Public Information," public information is information reflected and documented by any means and on any media, which was received or created in the process of performance of duties by subjects of power as provided by current legislation, or which is in the possession of subjects of power, or other administrators of public information defined by this Law.

Public information is open, except for cases established by the legislation of Ukraine.

Access to information is provided through:

1. systematic and prompt disclosure of information:

- in official printed publications;

- on official websites on the Internet;

- on the unified state web portal of open data;

- on information stands;

- by any other means;

2. providing information upon requests for information.

Information with restricted access includes confidential information, secret information, and official information.
